Gooseberry - Whinhams Industry

Traditional UK variety bearing heavy crops of large succulent berries, sweet and juicy with wonderful flavour, best eaten straight off the bush. May also be used for pies, jam, purée or wine-making, freezes well. Sweet enough to eat fresh when fully ripe.

Gooseberries need a fertile neutral soil to crop well (a pH of 6.0-7.5 is ideal) in full sun.
